Production Tubing Hangers

 

 According to the production head’s bore, their outside mantle may have a tapered or cylindrical shape. These hangers have a trapezoid thread section to accommodate the solid or check-valve type stop plug.

Their bottom and top female threaded connections may be configured according to the Client’s request (TBG, EU,  VAM, TPS, VAGT, FOX, LC, etc.).

 

Types and models

TAK type Production Tubing Hanger

The TAK production tubing hanger has a cylindrical shape. The hanger sits on a 45 ° shoulder formed in
the production tubing head. The two O-rings shall produce the sealing effect along the cylindrical mantle
of the production tubing hanger’s housing. The design of the TAK hanger permits the passage of an electric cable.

TAH-SSSV type Production Tubing Hanger

The TAH-SSSV production tubing hanger has a cylindrical shape. The hanger sits on a 45 ° shoulder formed in the production tubing head. By spanning the clamping screws arranged in the production tubing head tension is applied - via a pressing ring - to the packing which is thus pressed against the mantles of the production tubing head and of the hanger’s body to produce the sealing effect. A maximum of sealing is achieved by a secondary metal packing placed between the adapter and the production tubing hanger.

TA-1 type Production Tubing Hanger

The TA-1 production tubing hanger is suited to seal the annulus, while for suspending the string of production tubing a Model FFA hanger assembly (adapter) must be used. Sealing of the production tubing is accomplished by spanning the round head screws.

TA-4 type Production Tubing Hanger

The TA-4 production tubing hanger has a tapered shape. The two O-rings shall produce the sealing effect along the tapered mantle of the production tubing hanger’s housing. The effectiveness of sealing is being enhanced by an inbuilt tapered Teflon ring. Sealing of the shank protruding upwards shall be accomplished by using two P-seals in the adapter.

TA-5 type Production Tubing Hanger

The TA-5 production tubing hanger has a cylindrical shape. The hanger sits on a 45 ° shoulder formed in the production tubing head. The sealing of the annulus is accomplished by a sealing element positioned between the hanger’s placing adapter and the hanger’s body. The sealing element may be pre-tensioned by spanning the clamping screws arranged in the production tubing head.

TA-5F type Production Tubing Hanger

The TA-5F production tubing hanger has a cylindrical shape and features a metal-to-metal sealing, to be used at a pressure of 10,000 psi. The sealing element having the shape of a half sealing ring shall produce the metal-to-metal sealing effect between the production tubing head’s bore and the hanger’s body when the load of the production tubing string is being applied. 

TA-6 type Production Tubing Hanger

The design of the TA-6 production tubing hanger is the same as that of the TA-4 hanger. Yet, this type of hanger has a monitoring hole that may be plugged at the bottom by using a 1/4” NPT stop plug. The monitoring hole’s radially oriented outlet in the adapter lies between two P-seals; alternatively, a control line running through the hanger forms the outlet in the adapter.

TA-7 type Production Tubing Hanger

The TA-7 production tubing hanger has a cylindrical shape. The hanger sits on a 45 ° shoulder formed in the production tubing head. The two O-rings shall produce the sealing effect along the cylindrical mantle of the production tubing hanger’s housing. Inside the hanger’s body there is a threaded insert which may be replaced to hold different sizes of production tubes. The sealing of the face between the body and the
insert shall be accomplished by two O-rings.

TA-8 type Production Tubing Hanger

The TA-8 production tubing hanger has a cylindrical shape. The hanger sits on a 45 ° shoulder formed in the production tubing head. The two O-rings shall produce the sealing effect along the cylindrical mantle of the production tubing hanger’s housing.

TAB-5 type Production Tubing Hanger

The TAB-5 production tubing hanger has a cylindrical shape. The hanger sits on a 45 ° shoulder formed in
the production tubing head. There is a threaded insert inside the hanger’s body which may be replaced to
accommodate other sizes of production tubing. The sealing of the annulus is accomplished by a packing
positioned between the hanger’s placing adapter and the hanger’s body that shall be pre-tensioned by spanning the clamping screws arranged in the production tubing head.
