Positive (fix) & Adjustable Chokes

 

The output of a production well can be adjusted by Chokes. They are available as flanged and as sleeved versions.

Sizes:         2 1/16"  -  4 1/16"  or 2"LP

Pressure:  3000 - 10000 psi

Positive Choke

The output of a production well shall be determined by the fixed choke bit. The bits may be changed as needed. By removing the bit the fixed nozzle may be transformed into an adjustable choke if an adjustable choke assembly and a bit are fitted.

Adjustable type Choke

The production well’s output can be controlled by changing the cross-section of the discharge opening. The position indicator cylinder can be fitted on the spindle to show the nozzle’s actual setting position. The gland’s packing can be plasticized through the hole located on the top of the insert piece.
